Munchie Adventure: House of Tofu Soup, Richmond

Came here with a few friends, since it was like the middle point for us. (Was gonna go to the Burnaby location, but Richmond has more to do haha). This place is Chinese run, which is a big difference compared to the other location.

Food variety: 2.5/5
Food quality: 2.75/5
Buck worthy? 2.5/5

The side dishes here are the same as the one in Burnaby except for the extra pumpkin soup.

The pumpkin soup was pretty special, it was sweet and creamy. Sadly, it reminded me of the instant pumpkin soup mix I got once from T&T.

Having enjoyed the Soup and Bulgogi Combo ($14.99) at the other location, I decided to order it here as well. We chose the Beef Bulgogi.

The rice that came with the combo~~

And we had Mild Mixed Soup. The soup wasn't overflowing like the other place, so it looked neater. There was a lot of shrimp, clams, and squid in it =)

As well, since I was sharing with my friend, we ordered a Stone Bibimbap ($10.99). It came with a mushroom soup, and who knew it could taste so different than the soup we ordered with our combo! The mushroom was so good! Stone Bibimbap was meh, too much to eat xD

The other two both ordered a Bibim Noodle ($8.99), and they said it was good. A good spicy level too. It looked BIG.

Experience was good, but I still prefer the Burnaby one, food quality seemed better. I like their taste and the atmosphere better too. Richmond location is too spacious and fusion cafe feel instead of homey Korean place.
