A Few Thoughts: 誰是真正愛你的人--魯文 Who Truly Loves You

I found this a while ago, and I felt it was quite interesting to ponder about~~ Not that I agree with everything, but before we lose someone who truly loves us in our lives, lets try to notice these people. Don't have so many regrets in life, its not worth it. Don't have so many wants in life, it only makes you unhappy. Don't have so many complaints, isn't it better to be thankful?

**I think they use "lover" with the idea that it's more casual and not as serious as someone who truly loves you? Not 100% sure xD**

關係一般的情人，祇注意你迷人的笑容。
一個真正愛你的人，會特別注意你緊鎖的雙眉。
Your average lover**, will be mesmerized by your smile.
Someone who truly loves you, will be especially sensitive to your furrowed brows.

關係一般的情人，充其量是聽聽你訴說困擾。
一個真正愛你的人，會積極為你解決困擾。

Your average lover, at best will listen to your troubles.
Someone who truly loves you, will actively try to help you solve your troubles.

關係一般的情人，習慣於帶你去吃他認為好吃的東西。
一個真正愛你的人，會親手為你准備你喜歡吃的東西。

關係一般的情人，在吵架後往往認為愛情已經結束。
一個真正愛你的人，卻懂得真正愛情要經歷爭吵的考驗。

Your average lover, will believe that your love has ended after an argument.
Someone who truly loves you, will understand that true love undergoes and can withstand the trials of arguments.

關係一般的情人，期望你永遠在他身邊陪伴他。
一個真正愛你的人，渴望他能永遠伴在你身旁！
Your average lover, expects you will stay by his/her side forever.
Someone who truly loves you, desires to stay by your side forever!

So open your eyes to those around you and see who truly is there for you! Cherish every moment with them! Cherish THEM. (Sorry about the bad translation, it's written much more beautifully in Chinese ^^")

Some people never understand, leaving is the greatest hurt.
So, ever since you left, what right do you have to wish me happiness?

離開那一刻，你選擇放棄，我為你，你再不值得。
你扭頭，我沒必要等在原地。笑著哭也要幸福。
轉身比你快，走開，再不回來
The moment you left, you chose to give up. For you, I knew it wasn't worth it anymore.
You shook your head, I had no need to wait for you. Even if I'm smiling while crying, I will find happiness.
I'll turn away faster than you, leave, and never return.

A few thoughts: 女孩問，男孩答 (Girl asks, boy answers)

午後，慵懶的陽光灑落地面，
縱長路上，男孩騎車載著女孩…..
[你會愛我多久？]
女孩緊抱著男孩，側著頭在他耳邊這樣甜甜的問，
她知道，這個問題沒有100分的答案。

On a sunny afternoon, a boy and a girl were riding on a bike...

"How long will you love me for?"

The girl hugged the boy tightly, as she sweetly whispered it into his ear, knowing that, there is no perfect answer.

帶著嬌嗔的輕笑，
她說：「給你一個說甜言蜜語的機會。」
男孩卻認真的思考了起來。
Softly laughing in her cute way,
she said, "Giving you a chance to say sweet things to me."
The boy actually got serious and started to think deeply.

趁著紅燈停止的機會，他舉起手比了個“一”
要女孩猜猜他的答案是什麼。
Given the chance of it being a red light, the boy raised one finger indicating "one" 
wanting the girl to guess what his answer meant.

女孩想了一想，快樂的說：「一輩子！」
男孩笑了，並不是因為她答對，而是感染了她的喜悅。
The girl thought for a moment, and happily replied, "One lifetime!"
The boy laughed, not because she answered correctly, but because he was infected by her happiness.

綠燈了，男孩不僅趨車面對現實，也收斂起笑容，
輕輕的告訴女孩：
「我不會給這種答案的，這樣的答案好到不真實了，像在說謊..再猜猜..」
女孩對男孩的說法很滿意，於是歪者頭繼續想..
「一天？」
「呵呵，我們已經相戀兩個月了，
一天、一星期、一個月這些都不成立喔！」
The light turned green, the boy continued to drive but knew he had to face reality too, so his smile retracted, and gently told the girl,
"I won't give you that kind of answer, it's not practical, like I'm lying... guess again.."
The girl was very satisfied with the boy's response, so she continued to think...
"One day?"
"Haha, we already been dating for two months,
one day, one week, and one month all don't make sense!"

又是紅燈，男孩握住女孩的手，微笑的看著她，
女孩竊笑，大聲的說「不會是一瞬間吧？」

The light turned red again, the boy took the girl's hand in his own, smiled and looked at her,
the girl snickered, and loudly said, "It wouldn't be for one moment, would it?"
This answer made the boy almost fall off his bike from laughing, "Of course not!"
He always deeply loved her sense of humour, deeply loved her hearty smile,
this answer made him grip her hand even tighter...

「一年嗎？」曾經有過一年時間等待的承諾，
使得女孩對一年這個答案特別敏感。

男孩搖搖頭，
他們之間已經不需要等待，隻剩時間的考驗…….

女孩笑了，輕鈴的笑聲讓男孩闖了紅燈….

Sweet words are a boy's expertise, loving to hear sweet words is a girl's weakness...
The girl laughed, her laughter was like a softly chiming bell and made the boy run through a red light...

「想要聽答案了嗎？」男孩想說了，
而女孩想聽「我會愛你多久呢？」

"Do you want to hear the answer?" the boy wanted to tell her,

男孩手比著一說：
「一…….一直到你不再愛我的那一天…….」
女孩怔了……

Understanding, knowing when to be flirty , and when she should pamper you like a child. If you are a student, she won't capriciously ask you to skip class and go shopping with her, won't ask for you to provide her with luxury goods. If you are already working, she won't be upset because you forgot to call her, won't expect sweet words and compliments when you are stressed with work, even if she's had a bad day, she will still lightly embrace you, and stand by your side in the end.

She won't pass up any chance to get to know you better and be more involved in your life, get to know your circles. 8. 緊張你看到女人圍著你轉，她會吃醋，那些女人很優秀，她更容易吃醋，但是不會無理取鬧，興師問罪。她關心你，在乎你，想要抓住你。只要你肯耐下心，不要吝惜讓她安心的話。她需要的只是一句別人聽不到只有她能聽的話。
Tense when you're looking at the women surrounding you, she will get jealous, if these women are outstanding, she will be even more jealous, but she won't be unreasonable, questioning you like a criminal. She worries about you, cares about you, doesn't want to lose you. As long as you are willing to, don't spite her and give her confidence in you. She will tell you who is wooing her from time to time, seeing your tense worried face, will be satisfied to add that, you are the only one in your heart, not because she is silly, but she wants to feel important to you.

10. 懂你，理解你，支持你她會很認真很專注地看著你，聽你說話。看清你的樣子，記住你的聲音。她不僅愛你，也懂你並欣賞你。
Understand you, know you, supporting you she will intently watch you, listen to you. Clearly see your face, remember your voice. She doesn't love you, but will still understand and admire you.

A Few Thoughts: 父母和情人的分別-- The difference between parents and lovers

This is something I found in a parenting magazine, don't agree entirely with it because it seems a bit biased, but good to think about, and I guess, from different perspectives it could be right :) I tried to do a rough translation (it's worded way better in Chinese) Hope you enjoy reading it :)

A lover, when they suddenly can't find you, become very wary.
